N.B.  Advance rail tickets may be purchased at a much reduced cost.

Trains arrive at Newtown from Birmingham New Street and Shrewsbury every 2 hours: at 10.06am, 12.06pm, and 2.06pm.

From London go to Euston Station. Take Virgin Trains headed for Wolverhampton and change at Birmingham New Street for Arriva Trains Wales towards Aberystwyth.  Please contact the websites or National Rail Enquiries before travel in case engineering work alters the scheduled timetable.

A minibus will meet the 12.06 and the 2.06pm trains.

Sunday 6th July - Departure

Trains depart from Newtown at 9.44am, 11.44am, 2.41pm (towards Shrewsbury and Birmingham).

The journey between Gregynog and Newtown station takes between 10 and 14 minutes and costs around £10 by taxi.
